Saki Vihar Road is always a mess with traffic, especially near our place at number 46. We’ve been here in Andheri East for quite some time now, just running Hush India out of this building. It’s not a fancy glass office or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working through orders for mattresses and pillows. The warehouse gets pretty hot in the afternoons, and the fans don't do much, but we get used to it. Most of our day is spent checking the stitching or making sure the foam is cut right. We have a small crew and we’ve all been together for years. Usually, we eat lunch together in the back corner where it’s a bit quieter. You can hear the trucks honking outside all day long. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the side window, so we have to move the stock around. It’s just a normal workplace. We don't have big meetings or presentations. We just come in, do the work, and try to get home before the evening rush hour gets too bad. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping track of inventory on old clipboards. We don’t really bother with social media or anything. People around here know where we are if they need something for their bedroom. It’s just a steady routine that keeps us going. We just show up and keep at it.
