Hrishikesh Industrial Fabrics Pvt. Ltd. is located at 18-A in the Shivam Estate on Subhash Lane in Malad (East). It is a typical industrial estate setting where you have many small units doing different things. Our space is filled with rolls of fabrics and the smell of textiles. Subhash Lane can be very narrow and crowded, especially when delivery trucks are trying to squeeze through. We have been working out of this unit for several years now. It is a practical space designed for storage and basic handling of the fabrics we deal with. There is no real showroom here, just shelves and pallets. The office part is just a couple of desks shoved into a corner where we keep the ledgers and the phone. We are a small team and everyone does a bit of everything, from loading the fabric to answering the door. Malad East is a busy part of the city and being in Shivam Estate keeps us close to other businesses. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big sales team. We just focus on getting the right fabric to the people who order it. It is honest, manual work for the most part. The lighting isn't the best and it gets quite dusty, but that is the nature of the industrial fabric business. We just keep moving and making sure the orders are shipped out on time.
