Honesty Stores

Honesty Stores is located right on Kurla Road in the Kalina area. We are directly opposite the Kalina Police Chowky, which makes it very easy to explain where we are to anyone who asks. Being near the police station means it’s a pretty safe and well-known corner of the neighborhood. The road is usually quite busy with cars and buses heading towards Kurla or Santacruz. We’ve been here for a good while. The shop itself is just a regular local store. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. We just keep the shelves stocked and wait for people to come in. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s slow and watch the world go by on Kurla Road. It’s a very local vibe here in Kalina. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or pass through on their way to work. We know the names of quite a few people who stop in daily. It’s not a glamorous job but it’s what we do. The building is older and has its quirks, like a door that squeaks if you don’t pull it just right. We don’t mind. It gives the place some character. If you’re ever near the chowky, you’ll see our sign. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful when someone walks in the door. It is a simple life and we enjoy the daily routine.
