Working out here at Holtec Global Solutions Fze means getting used to the heat and the dust. We are set up near the Najran Cement Company in Saudi Arabia, specifically tied to Po Box No 1006. It is an industrial kind of life. Deepak Gade and the rest of the guys spend a lot of time just keeping things moving in a place that feels pretty far from the big city lights. The sun is usually pretty harsh by mid-morning, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early if we can. It’s a practical environment. There isn't much room for anything that isn't necessary for the job at hand. You spend a lot of time looking at the same landscape, but there is a good rhythm to it once you get settled. We eat together, talk about home, and then get back to whatever needs fixing or filing. Being connected to a big cement operation means there is always noise and movement nearby. It is not a flashy office job by any means. We are just a group of people making sure our part of the operation stays on track. The mail comes to the box, the trucks roll by, and we just keep our heads down and work through the list of things to do. It’s a long way from anywhere else, but we’ve made a decent space for ourselves out here.
