Holographic Security Marking Systems (P) Ltd. is situated at 109, Blue Rose Industrial Estate. We are right off the Western Express Highway in Borivali East, so the sound of trucks and cars is something we hear all day. Being in an industrial estate means the environment is very practical and a bit gritty. It’s not a place for suits and ties. Most of us are in casual clothes, moving around the machines or checking the labels we make. The space is filled with the smell of ink and the sound of the marking equipment running. We have a lot of metal tables and heavy shelves to hold everything. It’s a bit dusty, as you’d expect from an estate like Blue Rose, but we keep our work areas clean enough for the job. We spend most of our time making sure the security marks are printed correctly. It’s steady work, and we don’t spend much time on fluff. If you came to visit, you’d see a lot of focused people and maybe a few stacks of crates waiting to be moved out. We eat our lunch together in a small break area, mostly just talking about the day or the traffic on the highway. It’s a down-to-earth workplace where the focus is just on getting the day's tasks finished.
