Hites Lighting Pvt. Ltd. is right on the ground floor of Tara Mansion, at number 220 on Khetwadi Main Road. It is a very busy street, and the building itself has a lot of history to it. When you walk inside, the first thing you will notice is just how much light there is, which makes sense considering what we do. We have all sorts of fixtures and bulbs scattered around the room. Some are hanging directly from the ceiling, and others are still in their cardboard boxes waiting to be sorted. Khetwadi is a fast-paced area, so we are used to people coming in and out all day long. We do not use any big marketing slogans. We just show people what we have available on our shelves. Most of the time, the small air conditioner is struggling to keep up with the heat coming from all those demo lights, so it gets a bit warm in here. We have a small desk tucked away in the corner where we keep our ledgers and some old pens. We have seen the whole neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our spot in Tara Mansion has stayed pretty much the same. We take our time with each person who comes through the door, even if they are just looking for a single replacement bulb. It is not a complicated business, just a lot of checking stock and making sure the displays are actually working. We are usually here from early morning until the sun finally goes down.
