You can find us at C-6 in the Bajsons Industrial Estate on Chakala Road. Being in Andheri East, we are right in the middle of all the industrial action. Hindustan Glass Moulders has been operating from this unit for quite a long time. The space is filled with the smell of heat and the sound of machines because working with glass is a heavy process. We have molds of all different shapes and sizes scattered around the floor. It is not a place for someone who likes to keep their hands clean. We spend most of our shift monitoring the temperatures and making sure the glass is setting right. It’s a hot and tiring job, especially when the Mumbai humidity kicks in, but we are used to it. We don't have a fancy reception area or a marketing person to talk to. Usually, you’ll just see someone in work clothes who can help you out. We make parts and items out of glass for all sorts of uses. It’s a very specific kind of work that requires a lot of attention so things don't break or warp. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. The industrial estate is a bit of a maze, but we have been in this same corner for years. We aren't looking to expand into some giant factory. We just like doing our glass work right here in Andheri.
