We are over here at the Bandra Worli Sea Link project site in Mumbai. Our office is actually in the officers' quarters, specifically room 204. It's right opposite the Bandra Reclamation area. Most days, it's pretty busy around here with all the bridge work and traffic coming off the link. We've been based in this spot for a while now. It isn't a fancy office building or anything, just a practical space where we handle the paperwork and meetings for the construction jobs. Usually, you can see the bridge from right outside. The room is small but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time looking at site plans and dealing with the crews coming in and out. It’s loud sometimes because of the main road, but that’s just life in Bandra. We don't have a big reception area or coffee machines like the corporate offices in town. People just drop by when they need to talk about the project stuff. We try to keep things organized despite all the dust from the construction. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but being close to the site is what matters for the work we do. There are about six of us usually squeezed in there during the day. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit but we just carry on. It’s been our home base for the duration of this project phase and we just keep at it.
