Hindustan Construction Company Ltd. has its office at Flat No-405 in Shri Sainath Apartment. We are tucked away in Bhandup Village, specifically on the East side of Bhandup in Mumbai. It is a very local neighborhood, so you won’t find any big glass buildings or fancy lobbies around us. We like it that way because it is close to where the actual work happens. The apartment is on the fourth floor and it’s usually quite full of paper, blueprints, and the constant smell of tea being brewed. Mumbai is a fast place, but Bhandup has its own rhythm. We deal with all sorts of construction issues every day, from labor shortages to getting permissions from the local authorities. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive branding. Our focus is just on the projects we have in hand. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, or the monsoon makes the roads near the village difficult to navigate, but we manage somehow. It’s a simple setup. We have a couple of old desks and a few chairs for visitors to sit on. We don’t really talk about our vision or anything like that. We just focus on getting the slabs poured and the walls finished properly. If you are looking for us, just ask for the Sainath building near the village area. It’s a busy spot but we’ve been here long enough to know everyone.
