We are over here at House No-10 on Karbi Path, just off the Zoo Narangi Road in Guwahati. It is a busy enough spot. If you know the Rup Nath Upadhyay place, that is where we are based out of. Working in Assam means dealing with the rain and the humidity, but we just get on with it. Most days it’s just us handling the paperwork and keeping things moving. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The Karbi Path area is tucked away a bit, so it is not as noisy as the main road, which is nice when you are trying to focus on schedules or reading through site plans. People sometimes find it hard to spot the house number at first, but once you’ve been here, it is easy to find again. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just an office where we do our work. Some of the guys are out at sites most of the day, so the office stays quiet in the afternoons. We handle the local side of things for Hindustan Construction Company Ltd from this specific branch. It is a practical setup. We have our files, a few desks, and the usual tea breaks that keep us going. Guwahati is a growing place, and you can see the changes everywhere you look.
