Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd also has a presence out in Dubai, UAE. It is a long way from our other offices, but the work is much the same in many ways. Dubai is a city that never seems to stop building, so there is always a lot to keep track of. The environment here is very different, with the heat and the modern skyline, but we still handle things in our own straightforward way. Our office here serves as a base for our international efforts. It’s a busy place with people coming and going from various sites across the city. The sun is usually bright and the buildings are tall, which is a bit of a change from the village offices we have elsewhere. We spend a lot of time on calls back home or coordinating with local crews here. It’s a fast-paced life in Dubai, and we have to keep up with the quick timelines and the massive scale of the projects. Even though it is a big international hub, we try to keep our feet on the ground. We don't use much fancy talk; we just focus on the concrete and the steel. The office is functional, with enough space for our engineers and planners to sit down and figure out the logistics. It can be a bit overwhelming sometimes with how fast the city changes, but we’ve found our rhythm here over time. It is a big leap from India, but we keep the same work habits and practical approach to construction.
