If you look for us in Mulund-West, you’ll find our office at Vishramdham in Veena Nagar. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, but our building is tucked away enough that we can actually get things done. N. Rajan manages things here for the Hinduja Group. It’s a typical Mumbai office—not huge, but every inch is used for something. We spend a lot of time on the phone or going through files because that’s just how the group stays organized. The traffic in Mulund can be a real headache, so we tend to stay put once we get in for the day. It’s not a glamorous life, just working through the daily tasks that come with a big company name like this. We see a lot of people coming in and out for various meetings. Sometimes it feels like we are just a small piece of a much bigger machine, which is true, I suppose. We don't bother with fancy talk or big decorations. We have our desks, our tea, and plenty of work to keep us occupied until the evening. The local area has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here in Veena Nagar, just doing our bit for the group day after day without much fuss. It is a long day usually, but we are used to the pace of this city and its constant demands.
