Hindoostan Technical Fabrics Ltd.

Our office is over at Sir Vithaldas Chambers on Mumbai Samachar Marg. It’s an old part of Mumbai, right in the middle of all the heritage buildings. Hindoostan Technical Fabrics Ltd. has its space here at number 16. The hallways are high-ceilinged and have that old-fashioned feel. Outside, it’s always busy with people heading to the courts or the banks. We work with technical fabrics, which is a bit specialized, but we don't make a big deal out of it. Most of our time is spent on the phone or looking over technical sheets and samples. It’s not a factory setting here; it’s more of the administrative and technical side. We have some fabric swatches piled up on the desks and files everywhere. It’s an honest workplace where we just try to keep things organized. We don't have a fancy reception area with a coffee machine. If someone visits, we just pull up a spare chair. The area has a lot of history, and we’ve been part of it for quite some time. We just come in, do our work, and head home like everyone else. No grand plans or corporate polish, just a group of people working with fabrics in an old Mumbai building. We might not have the newest furniture, but we know exactly where everything is. The noise of the city filters in through the windows, but we’re used to it. It’s just a normal day at the office for us and we like it that way.
