Hindoostan Technical Fabric Limited operates out of Sir Vithaldas Chambers on Samachar Marg. We are at unit number 16 in this old building. It is a different kind of vibe here compared to a modern office park. The hallways are narrow and the architecture has that old-world feel of Samachar Marg. We have been in this spot for a while now, focusing on our technical fabrics. It is a quiet office for the most part, with people working at their desks and piles of fabric samples sitting around on every available surface. We don't have a reception desk or a shiny lobby. You just walk in and someone will probably be there to talk to you. The windows look out onto the street which is usually packed with cars and people going about their business. We have a small team here and everyone knows their job. Sometimes the elevators in the building are a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It is a practical place to work from. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just focus on the technical side of the textiles we handle. The location is convenient for us and we like being in this part of town despite the parking being a bit of a nightmare sometimes. It feels like home to us after all these years.
