Hide Park

You can find Hide Park on the second floor of the Oberoi Shopping Centre, which is at Nariman Point. It’s a pretty well-known building in a busy part of the city. We have a small shop there at unit F/85. It’s not a huge place, but we fit all our leather goods inside. The air in the shop always smells like tanned leather, which I personally like. We spend our time showing people the different bags and belts we have in stock. Since we are in Nariman Point, we get a lot of office workers coming in during their lunch breaks or after they finish for the day. It’s a bit different from a street-side shop because we are inside the centre, so it stays a bit cooler and quieter. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve got some regular customers who always come back when they need a new wallet or something. We don't do much in the way of big sales or loud advertising. We just sit in the shop, keep the shelves tidy, and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the foot traffic in the Oberoi Shopping Centre is slow, especially on rainy days, but we keep busy by checking the inventory. It’s a steady way to make a living. We just focus on the items we have and try to be helpful when someone asks a question. Most days are pretty calm in here.
