Hi Skill Industries

Out here in Kandivali East, we run Hi Skill Industries. We are located at 248 D, which is right in the middle of a very busy industrial patch. There’s always the sound of machines humming and people shouting over the noise. It’s a gritty place, and your hands stay dirty most of the shift. We do a lot of small-scale manufacturing and assembly work. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much equipment packed in there, but we make it work. Mumbai is always fast-paced, and we feel that every single morning when we open up. We don't have any polished marketing stuff; we just rely on the work we’ve done before. The lights in the shop are a bit dim in the corners, and the floor is stained from years of oil and use. We have a small area where we keep our tools organized, or at least we try to. Most of the workers take the local train and walk from the station. It’s a long day, usually starting before the sun is fully up and ending well after dark. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake and keep moving. It’s just a regular factory life, nothing more and nothing less. We focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the machines don't break down in the middle of a job.
