Hemkunt industries

Our place, Hemkunt industries, is at 4, Nigos Industrial Estate. We occupy space on Plot No. 1 and 2 within the Cama Estate over in Goregaon East. It’s one of those busy industrial pockets where there’s always a lot of activity and people moving around. We’ve been at this address for a good while, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. The workspace is filled with the usual stuff you’d expect in an industrial unit—rows of supplies, some heavy equipment, and a lot of paperwork on the desks. Goregaon East is a central spot, so we get a lot of deliveries and people stopping by throughout the week. It’s not a quiet office environment; there’s usually some noise from the machines or the street outside. We try to keep things as organized as we can, but when things get busy, the floor gets a bit cluttered with boxes and parts. It’s a straightforward operation. I spend most of my time walking between the different plots, checking on how things are moving along and what needs fixing. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing; we just wear our work clothes and get into the thick of it. The Cama Estate has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of that over the years. It’s a solid place to work, even if it gets a bit hot in the summer. We just keep going, day in and day out.
