Health Glow

This shop is located at Shahid Bhagat Singh Marg 12, right in the thick of things near the Colaba Causeway. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the shoppers and tourists walking by. We’ve been here at this address for a bit, just a small part of the street. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when the shop gets full, but we manage. Usually, it’s just me and a couple of others working here. We spend a lot of time just restocking the counters. People come in looking for sunblock or maybe some shampoo because they forgot it at home. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place to get your basics. The air conditioning works okay, which is a relief in the summer heat here. Sometimes the sidewalk outside is so packed you can barely see the door. I’ve noticed that most people are in a hurry, so we try to be quick. We don't do anything fancy with the layout. It's just rows of products. It gets dusty pretty fast because of the road traffic, so we are always wiping things down. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like the people who stop by. We’ve got some locals who have been coming for years. They usually just wave and grab what they need. It’s a decent place to work. It is just how things are at Health Glow here in Colaba every day for those of us behind the counter.
