Hdfc Securities Ltd

Panch Pakhadi is a nice enough neighborhood in Thane West, and our office at 25/80, Dindayal Nagar is right in the thick of it. We are located right opposite the Satyam Building, so we spend a lot of time looking out the window at the people going in and out of there. Hdfc Securities Ltd is where we spend our nine-to-five. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few rows of desks, some computers that are always humming, and a lot of chairs for when people come in to talk about their investments. It’s not the quietest place, especially since the road outside is a popular one. We get a lot of natural light in the afternoons, which is nice, but it can make the screens hard to see sometimes. Most of the guys here have been working together for a few years, so we have a good rhythm going. We talk about the market a bit, but mostly we talk about where to get the best lunch or how the local trains are running. We don’t use any big words or fancy talk; we just explain things simply and get the paperwork done. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where people walk the most, and the water cooler makes a loud glugging sound, but it’s home for us during the day. We just try to stay on top of things and keep the files organized.
