Haver Standard India Pvt. Ltd. is located in Standard House at 83, M. Karve Marg. We have been using P.O. Box No. 2082 for our mail for ages. The building is an old one, and it has a lot of character that you don't find in those new glass buildings. M. Karve Marg is always buzzing with activity, so there is never a dull moment looking out the window. Inside Standard House, it is a bit of a maze with different rooms and hallways. We have our desks set up in a way that worked twenty years ago and still works now. There is no fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets everywhere. We just have what we need to get the job done. The wooden floors sometimes creak when you walk down the hall. It is a very practical environment. We don't really have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just handle the business and talk to the people who come in. Some of us have been here since the building was first occupied by the company. It feels like a second home for most of the staff. We get our lunch from the small stalls nearby and eat at our desks. It is a very grounded way of working. No one here puts on airs. We just focus on the daily mail and the tasks at hand.
