Harshad Industries

We've been here at Matru Chhaya Indl. Estate on Navghar Cross Road for a while now. Bhayender East is where we call home. Harshad Industries is just a small setup, really. We handle a lot of metal work and fabrication stuff. Most days it's just about getting the orders out on time. The workshop gets pretty loud. We started out with just a couple of machines and we've added things as we needed them. It's not a fancy place, just concrete floors and the smell of grease. Sometimes the traffic on the cross road makes it hard for the trucks to get in, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the parts we send out are what people asked for. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything. Just the work. The guys here have been doing this for years, so they know their way around the tools. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever. It’s a job, but it’s ours. We usually open up early before the sun gets too hot. If you're coming by, look for the gate near the corner. It's easier to find us if you know the landmark. The monsoon rains sometimes leak through the roof a bit, but we just move the stuff around. It's part of being in Bhayender. We stay late if a machine breaks down because that's just how it goes. We’re just keeping busy like everyone else around here.
