Hari Om Lightings

Our shop, Hari Om Lightings, is located at Plot No-9 inside the Tara Prasad Mishra Compound. It’s right off the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the other side of town, but we’re also near the Vasai Railway Station, so that helps some of our visitors. The compound can be a bit crowded with other businesses, and parking is sometimes a headache. We’ve got a lot of stuff packed into our space. There are boxes of lights and parts everywhere you look. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We started this because we knew a lot about how lighting works and wanted to do it for ourselves. My family helps out a lot with the day-to-day things. We don't have a big corporate structure. If you come in, you'll probably talk to me or one of the guys who’s been here forever. We spend a lot of time testing things out and making sure they actually work before we sell them. The highway noise is constant, but it’s part of the atmosphere here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny showroom. We just want to provide what people are looking for. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we like being our own bosses. It’s a simple life, really, just making sure people get their lights.
