Hardglass Industries Pvt. Ltd. is located out in M-37, Midc Taloja. If you’ve ever been to Taloja, you know it’s a massive industrial zone where everyone is busy making something. Our part of it involves a lot of heat and heavy handling because of the glass. It’s not a job for people who mind getting their hands dirty or working in a warm environment. The furnaces stay on for a long time, and you can feel the warmth even near the entrance. We have a routine that we follow every single day to make sure things go smoothly. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been in the glass business for a long time. We aren't really into big marketing talk or anything like that; we just focus on the crates of glass leaving the loading bay. The floor is always covered in some kind of dust, and we have to be careful where we step. Taloja is a bit far from the main city, so it’s a long commute for some of us, but we are used to it by now. We take our breaks when we can, usually sitting on the dock for a bit of a breeze. It’s a tough environment, but there is something satisfying about seeing the finished product at the end of a shift. We just keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the daily schedule.
