Our office is tucked away in the Sangh Chhaya Society in Charkop, which is in the Kandivali West area of Mumbai. Being in a residential-commercial mix like Sector 3 means it's usually pretty lively around here. Hapag-Lloyd Global Services is the name on the door, but most of us are just locals from around Mumbai trying to keep up with the shipping schedules. The address 343/D-46 is where we spend our days looking at screens and talking to people about containers and ships. Mumbai heat can be a bit much, but we have the fans and AC going while we work through the piles of logs and data. It’s not like those big corporate glass buildings you see in the city center; our spot feels more like a part of the community. We handle a lot of the backend stuff for the global shipping side. It’s a lot of emails and checking numbers over and over to make sure nothing gets missed. Sometimes the society gates get a bit crowded with deliveries, but that’s just life in Kandivali. We’ve been at this for a while, and the routine stays pretty much the same. We come in, check the morning updates, and try to get through the list before the day ends. It’s honest work and keeps us on our toes. There’s always someone stopping by or a phone ringing about a container status somewhere far away in the 400 067 area.
