Haldyn Glass

Haldyn Glass is tucked away right off the W.E. Highway in Goregaon. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy that highway gets. Our place at 400063 is usually buzzing with activity from early morning until late. We’ve been dealing with glass for a long time, and the location works well for us even with all the traffic. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the sound of glass clinking or trucks backing up. We don't spend much time in fancy boardrooms. Most of our day is spent on the floor or near the loading docks. Goregaon has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same in terms of how we work. We show up, we see what the day brings, and we handle the glass. It’s a practical sort of life. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes things a bit tricky, especially during the monsoon, but we keep things moving regardless. We aren't interested in making things sound more complicated than they are. It’s just glass. We make it, we move it, and we make sure the people who need it get it. It’s a local operation with a lot of history in this neighborhood. Everyone here knows their role. We don't need a handbook to tell us how to be a team; we just work together because that’s the only way the job gets finished. It is just basic, honest work that keeps us busy.
