H K International is tucked away in the Anita Building over at the Dantali Industrial Estate in Malabar Hill. It is an interesting spot because you have the industrial feel of the estate mixed with the general vibe of the hill area. We have been here for a good bit of time now, handling the daily ins and outs of our international business. Our office is functional, with a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets that probably need a good sorting out one of these days. There is always a phone ringing or someone checking on a shipment. We deal with a lot of paperwork and coordination, which keeps us pretty glued to our chairs most of the day. The building itself is older, but it has a solid feel to it. We usually grab lunch from the small stalls nearby or bring something from home and eat while we work. It isn't a place with a lot of decorations or fancy carpets. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the orders move from one place to another like they are supposed to. Sometimes the traffic getting up the hill is a nightmare, but once you are inside the estate, it is just about getting the job done. We are just regular people trying to keep the business running smoothly in a busy part of the city. There is always something to do, so we don't have much time for sitting around.
