We have been operating H. K. Enzymes & Bio-Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. from our spot on Jitendra Road for a while now. It is right across from Ashoka Hospital in Malad East, inside the Indraprashtha building. Managing a bio-chemical place involves a lot of paperwork and keeping things organized, which is what we spend most of our days doing here at 1/1 A. People sometimes have trouble finding the entrance because of the traffic, but we are right there. We handle all sorts of enzymes and different chemical products that local industries need. It is not flashy work, just regular daily tasks like checking stocks and making sure deliveries go out to the right places on time. The office is usually busy with phone calls and people coming in to talk about their specific orders. We do not really do much advertising, we just focus on the work that is right in front of us. Most of the people working here live nearby in Malad or come in from the surrounding neighborhoods. We have seen this part of the city change quite a bit over the years, especially with the hospital across the street getting so much busier. Working with bio-chemicals means we have to be very careful about how things are stored and handled, so that takes up a lot of our attention.
