Our place is in Kandivali East, located on the 8th Main in the 3rd Block at number 121. It’s an industrial sort of setup we have here. We work with gypsum and other related building materials. The office is right where the actual action is, so it can get a bit noisy with the machinery and the trucks coming in. Kandivali East has grown so much over the years, but we’ve stayed in this same spot. We spend a lot of time on the phone with various suppliers and logistics people. It’s a lot of back-and-forth every single day. Our desks are usually covered in big ledgers and yellow delivery notes. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world; we just want to get our specific orders out to the customers on time. The staff here has been together for a long while, so we all know how things are supposed to work. Sometimes the monsoon season makes things quite difficult because the extra moisture in the air affects the gypsum. We have to be extra careful with how we store everything during those months. We don't have a fancy lobby or a waiting room for visitors. It’s very much a working environment. We focus on the practical side of things, like making sure the weight of the loads is exactly right for the trucks. It’s a lot of physical work and daily coordination, but we keep the rhythm going.
