Gupta Sales Corporation

Gupta Sales Corporation is a small shop located at number 506 on Road No 3 in Vikhroli West. We are in the Parksite area, right near the 387 last bus stop. If you take that bus, you basically land right in front of us. Mumbai is always crowded and our shop is no different. We have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling most days. It’s a bit of a squeeze to move around when a new shipment comes in. We sell various items and handle the daily sales from this one spot. The fan in the corner is always running but it doesn't do much in the humidity. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. Usually, I’m just sitting behind the counter with a ledger and a pen, keeping track of who bought what. People from the neighborhood drop in to chat or pick up things they need for their homes. The noise from the bus stop is constant, but it keeps the place feeling alive. We sometimes stay open late if the delivery trucks are stuck in traffic on the way from the warehouse. It’s a lot of lifting and moving crates. My shirt is usually wrinkled by the end of the day. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local shop that sells what people need. It’s just us, the inventory, and the daily grind of Vikhroli life. It gets hot in the afternoons but we stay busy with the work.
