Gulf Consolidated Contractors

We are located over in Mira Road East, in the Shanti Nagar area. Our office for Gulf Consolidated Contractors is in Dreamland Apartment, specifically Flat No: 403 in the B-29 building of Sector 11. It’s a residential building, so it’s a bit of a different feel than a downtown office. We do a lot of our contracting business from this flat. Mira Road is a really crowded part of the Mumbai suburban area, so there’s always something happening outside. We spend a lot of time on the phone and managing the logistics for our construction sites. Being in a flat means it’s a pretty small operation, just a few of us working on the computers and keeping the files in order. It’s convenient for us because we are right in the middle of everything. We have to deal with the typical Mira Road traffic if we need to get out to a site. It’s not a fancy setup, just some desks and a lot of paper. We’ve been in Shanti Nagar for a good bit now and we like the neighborhood. It’s where we handle all the contracting details and the planning for our projects. Usually, the day is filled with checking on workers and making sure we are on schedule. It’s a lot of work but we keep at it every day, even when the monsoon rain makes travel around here almost impossible.
