Guest Amenities

Lamington Road is always a mess with traffic, but we have been here at Navjivan Commercial Complex for quite some time now. Our office is at number 921, and if you come by, you will see it is packed with boxes and supplies. We started Guest Amenities because we saw a need for basic stuff like soaps and small bottles of shampoo for local guesthouses. It was not some big corporate plan, just a way to make a living. The room is a bit small for all the inventory we try to keep, but we make it work somehow. Most days are spent checking the lists and making sure the right packages go out to the hotels that call us. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just us sitting at old desks, answering the phone and talking to the delivery guys who come and go. Sometimes the lift in the building is broken, so we end up carrying boxes up the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. It is a busy life in Mumbai, and we are just another small part of it. We know most of the people in the building by now. It is a regular workplace where we try to get things done without too much fuss. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. That is pretty much how we run things here every day.
