Great Circle Logistics Pvt Ltd is up on the fifth floor of the Meridien Apartments, which is at 5/504 on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West. This part of Mumbai is a huge hub for all sorts of businesses, and it’s always packed with people. Our office is actually inside an apartment building, so it feels a bit more personal than a standard commercial block. We do a lot of logistics planning from here. Since we are on the fifth floor, we are a bit removed from the immediate noise of Veera Desai Road, but you can still hear the city humming. The office is mostly filled with computers and whiteboards where we map out shipping routes and schedules. It’s not a big team, just a group of us who have worked in shipping for years. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs and freight forwarders. There’s no fancy reception desk; you just walk in and we’re all there working. The lift in the building is sometimes a bit slow, so we get some exercise on the stairs if we’re in a hurry. It’s a decent place to work, and being in Andheri means we are close to everything, even if the traffic to get here can be a nightmare sometimes. We just focus on our clients and keeping the logistics moving.
