At Grasim Industries Limited, we set up shop here at Lakshachandi Heights, right in the Gokuldham area of Goregaon-East. Being up on the 20th floor at C-2004 gives us a bit of a view of the city, but mostly we are just looking at our computer screens all day. Mumbai is a fast place, and Goregaon is no different. It’s always crowded and moving. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It’s a decent place to work, though waiting for the lifts in the morning can be a real test of patience. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of tea being drunk by the staff. We don’t do big meetings or have a receptionist out front. Usually, it’s just one of us getting up to answer the door when someone knocks. Working in Gokuldham is convenient since it’s a well-known spot. We’ve got a routine down, starting early before the heat really kicks in. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we’ve got that local connection. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office or fancy chairs. It’s about getting the work done and making sure everything is tracked properly. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the commute a real mess, but we still show up. It’s just how things are done here in Mumbai. We’re just a group of regular people doing our jobs in a busy high-rise, staying busy with our daily tasks and paperwork.
