Grasim Industries Limited

We are located on the 3rd floor of the Sahyagiri building in Deonar Baug. Deonar is an interesting part of Mumbai, a bit away from the main commercial centers but still very busy in its own way. Our office at number 7 isn't huge, but it’s enough space for the team we have. We’ve got a good view of the trees in the Baug from our windows, which is a nice change from the usual concrete. The building is a bit older, so the stairs can be a workout if the lift isn't working right. We spend most of our time coordinating with different departments. There’s always a lot of shouting across the room to get things sorted quickly. We don’t have any fancy posters or corporate mission statements on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes pinned up everywhere. The staff here is pretty close-knit since we’ve been working together for quite a while. We usually go out for a quick snack at the local stalls during the afternoon break. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and we know what we’re doing. We focus on the daily tasks and try to stay ahead of the deadlines. Being in Deonar means we’re a bit removed from the South Mumbai rush, and we quite like that pace. It’s just a normal office where people work hard and go home. We have been here for several years now.
