Grasim Industries Limited - Cement Division

The Cement Division out here in Sidhan village is quite far from the noise of the big cities. To get here, you have to go through the Bhera post office area and head into the Tosham tehsil. It is a very rural part of Bhiwani, Haryana. The surroundings are mostly fields and open space, which makes for a quiet work environment. Our office is a practical space, built to handle the rough and tumble of the cement business. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of moving materials and making sure the local staff have what they need. The roads can be quite bumpy, especially after the rain, but you get used to the drive. It is a very different vibe than an urban office. We see a lot of farmers and local traders coming by. Everyone speaks plainly, and there is no room for fancy corporate talk. The sun can be quite harsh in this part of Haryana, so we usually keep the blinds down in the afternoon. We have a small tea station that gets used a lot throughout the day. Working here feels like being part of the land in a way. We are just a group of people trying to keep the operations running smoothly in this corner of the state. It is hard work, and the dust is everywhere, but we just get on with it without making a fuss. It is a long day but the air is clear and the people are good.
