Recent Enterprises

Recent Enterprises is on the ground floor of the Chhotani Building, specifically Shop Number 3 B. We are located at 52 B Proctor Road, which is just off the famous Lamington Road near Grant Road. This part of Mumbai is always packed with people looking for electronic parts or hardware. Our shop is quite old and the walls show it, but it’s a solid place to work. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling packed with various goods. Because we are on the ground floor, it’s easy for people to just walk in from the street. It’s very noisy because of the traffic and the vendors outside. We spend a lot of time searching through boxes to find specific components for our customers. Sometimes it gets quite hot inside, so we keep the ceiling fan on full speed. We’ve been here for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a lot of manual work, checking stock and dealing with suppliers who drop off crates in the narrow lane. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It's just a regular business spot where we handle our daily trade and talk to the people who stop by for their supplies.
