Our office is located in Park Darshan Chsl, which is B16, right near Lallubhai Park in Andheri West. Mumbai is a city that never stops, and being in Andheri means we are right in the thick of it. The park nearby is a nice touch, even if we don't always get time to walk through it. Gpil is a fairly small operation. We don't have those huge glass-walled offices you see in the movies. It’s more of a homey setup where everyone knows each other. We spend our days handling the usual business tasks. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes getting to work a real challenge, but we manage. The building is older, but it has character. We don't go in for all that corporate branding and fancy logos everywhere. We just have our name on the door and get on with things. Most of us take the train or a rickshaw to get here. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a good while, so we know the local chai wallahs and the guys at the corner shop. It’s a community feel, even though we’re in a huge city. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big speeches. We just want to get the work done and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a simple life. No fancy talk, just daily work.
