Government Of Maharastra

This office is based in the Income Tax Colony in CBD Belapur. We are in Sector 21/22, specifically at D-52, Room No-2/2. It’s a very specific address in a big government colony. CBD Belapur is a busy hub in Navi Mumbai, but the colony itself is a bit quieter with lots of government quarters and old trees. We are a small unit of the Maharashtra government. The room we work in is quite small, so we have to be very organized with our files so we don't trip over them. It’s a lot of administrative work, mostly dealing with internal government matters and staff records. You can hear the trains in the distance sometimes when the wind is right. The office has that classic government feel—metal cupboards, wooden clipboards, and plenty of rubber stamps. We aren't a public-facing office for the most part, so it’s usually just us and the occasional messenger dropping off mail. The commute to Belapur can be long for some of us, especially in the heat, but once we are in the colony, it’s a familiar routine. We don't have any fancy technology, just the basic computers and a printer that works when it feels like it. We focus on getting the reports finished on time. It is a simple, no-frills kind of place. We aren't here to make a big splash. We just provide the support needed for the department to keep functioning from this corner of Navi Mumbai.
