Wiim

Our office for Wiim is at 81/642 Jai Ambe CHS, right across from the police quarters on MG Road in Goregaon West. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s a good spot once you get here. Being off Anna Salai in Palavakkam is a bit of a distance if you’re looking at the whole map, but we manage the logistics between the spots. In Goregaon, the street is always loud with honking and people rushing to catch the train. We have our small space in the Jai Ambe building where we keep all our files and do the day-to-day tasks. It’s a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight and you have to be organized just to find your own pen. We spend a lot of time on the phone or coordinate things between the different locations. The police quarters across the street are a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We aren’t doing anything glamorous; it’s just a lot of coordination and making sure the business stays on track. The weather can be a bit much, especially during the monsoon when the roads around here tend to get puddles everywhere, but we just wear our boots and keep coming in. It’s a basic office with a few desks and a water cooler that’s seen better days. We just focus on the work at hand and don't worry about the rest.
