Vicky Plast

Vicky Plast is tucked away in the A. B. Compound in Goregaon West. We are right opposite Singh Industrial Estate No. 1, which is a pretty busy spot. Our days are filled with the sound of plastic molding machines and the rustle of packing bags. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The compound can get pretty crowded with delivery vans and workers moving around, especially around noon. We’ve got stacks of plastic products everywhere, and the warehouse always has that warm, slightly chemical smell that comes from the production process. We aren't a big corporation with fancy lobbies. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor checking on the latest batch or helping load a truck. We started small and just kept going, mostly by word of mouth in the industry. We don't spend money on big ads because we’d rather just make sure the quality of the plastic is right. Sentence lengths vary because we talk how we think. Sometimes we're too busy to even grab a proper lunch. We just keep the machines running and try to keep up with the orders that come in from all over the city. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the details. We just want to get the work done right so we can go home at the end of the day.
