Kitchen Impresa

Kitchen Impresa is situated in Shop No. 5 and 6 of the Ashokraj Building. We are right on S. V Road in Goregaon West, which means there’s a lot of noise from the cars and buses outside. We are pretty close to the Ratna Hotel, so that’s a good landmark if you’re looking for us. We spend our days looking at designs and talking about cabinets and drawers. It’s a lot of measuring things twice to make sure they fit. The shop has some displays so people can see what different materials look like. It’s not a huge showroom, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes we’re out at a site checking on a renovation, so the shop might just have one person sitting there. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We get a lot of dust from the road coming in, so we’re always wiping down the samples. Working on kitchens is interesting because everyone wants something different. We just try to listen to what people need for their homes. The building itself is an older one, but it’s a solid location for us. We’ve been in Goregaon for a while and we like being part of the local market here. It’s busy and hectic, but it feels like home. We usually have a tape measure tucked in a pocket and some sketches on the desk. There is usually sawdust on our shoes by the end of the day.
