We are over in Goregaon East, inside the Rocky Industrial Estate. Our specific spot is Office No. 38 in Building No. 1. It’s part of the Nirmal Rubber Compound, which is a bit of a maze if you aren’t familiar with I. B. Patel Road. We’re near Udyag Bhavan, so that’s the best way to find us. Polo Gifts Creations Private Limited has been tucked away in this corner for years. The building is solid, concrete, and carries that industrial feel you expect in this part of Mumbai. There is always a truck being loaded or unloaded somewhere nearby. The hallways are narrow, and you can hear the sounds of other businesses through the doors. We keep our office door open sometimes just to get a breeze, but mostly we stay inside and focus on the work. It’s a lot of manual coordination. We have stacks of boxes and samples all over the place. It’s not the kind of office where you’d see people in suits. We wear what’s comfortable because the work can be a bit physical at times. The walk from the main road isn't too bad, though it gets muddy when it rains. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the estate. The security guards know us by name. It’s a community of small businesses all trying to get things done. We don't have a big sign out front, just the number on the door and our desks inside.
