Makharia Electricals Pvt. Ltd. operates out of B-611 in the Express Zone. This is right on the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East. It’s a very fast-paced area with the highway right there. You can always hear the sound of the traffic and the horns from the office. Being in the Express Zone means we are in a big building with lots of other businesses. Our unit, B-611, is up on one of the floors and we spend our whole day there. The elevators can be a bit slow during the lunch hour when everyone is heading out. Inside the office, it’s mostly just shelves of electrical components and a couple of computers. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight into the workspace. We’re often busy with shipments or checking the technical specs of the parts we have. It’s a lot of heavy lifting sometimes. The view from the window is just more buildings and the highway stretching out. Goregaon East is a good place to be for this kind of work because everything is connected. We keep our heads down and focus on the orders. It’s a dusty, busy environment, but that’s the nature of dealing with electrical supplies in a big city like Mumbai. We stay here because the location makes sense for moving goods quickly. The work is constant and we just keep at it.
