We’re tucked away in Goregaon East, specifically at A-15 in the Sonawala Industrial CHP Limited. It’s right by the old Madan Mohan Silk Mill and Sonawala X Road No. 2. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy Goregaon can get. The traffic on the main road is always a bit of a nightmare, but once you get inside the industrial estate, it’s its own little world. We handle a variety of industrial products here. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things that people in factories need. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of, and sometimes we spend half the day just looking for that one specific part someone asked for. The office is small and usually has a few stacks of invoices waiting to be filed. We’ve got an old air conditioner that rattles, but we’re glad to have it when the Mumbai humidity hits. Most of the guys who work here have been with us for a long time. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to be the place where people can find what they need without a lot of fuss. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy workplace, but it’s where we belong and it feels like home. We just keep our heads down and manage the stock.
