If you are looking for our office in Egmore, we are located at 42 Pantheon Road. It’s a very old part of the city and the traffic outside can be a total nightmare during the morning rush hours. The building has been standing here for ages and has that old smell to it. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks, noisy phones, and people staring at computer screens or going through huge stacks of paperwork. Logistics is mostly just a lot of talking to truck drivers and checking where containers are stuck at the port. There’s always someone on the phone in the background arguing about a late delivery or a missing form that should have been signed. It’s definitely not a quiet or calm office environment. You can hear the constant horns from the street even when all the windows are shut tight. We drink way too much coffee just to stay awake through the long shifts when things get busy. Sometimes we have to stay late into the night because of the time differences with other ports across the world. The walls could really use a fresh coat of paint and the carpet is looking a bit worn out from all the walking back and forth between desks. We don’t have any flashy neon signs or modern furniture. It’s just a functional place where we manage the daily movement of goods for our clients. Most of the staff have been here forever.
