Down in Dadar East, you’ll find us over at Goradia Impex Llp. We’ve got our small office set up in Room 101, which is in H Block of the Ranjit Studio building. It’s right on Dadasaheb Phalkay Road, a street that has a lot of history if you know your Mumbai stories. The building itself has that old character you don’t see much in the newer parts of the city. We spend our days here dealing with all the tiny details that come with running an import-export business. Dadar is always bustling, so there is never really a quiet moment outside our window. People are always rushing to the station or moving goods around. Our space isn't huge, but it's enough for the few of us who work here. We don't go in for anything flashy. Mostly, it’s just desks, a few chairs, and stacks of papers that need filing. If you’re walking down Phalkay Road, you might miss the entrance if you aren’t looking for it. It feels very much like a part of the old neighborhood. We like it that way because it keeps us grounded. We don’t have a corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us doing the work, making sure things get where they need to go. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists, but it’s what we do. It is just a regular office day for us.
