Living and working around Godrej Hill Side Colony in Vikhroli means you're always part of a big, busy environment. Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. has been at F6/36 for a long time. It’s a bit of a maze here with all the different blocks and housing, but we’ve made this spot our own. The air feels a bit different up on the hill compared to the rest of Mumbai. Most of the staff actually live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless it's raining hard. We spend our mornings checking logs and making sure the machinery or the paperwork is moving along. It’s not a glamorous setup by any means. There’s old furniture, stacks of papers, and the constant hum of the city in the background. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the sheer volume of work makes it a challenge. We aren't trying to be the most modern office in the world; we just want to get the orders filled and the problems solved. Everyone knows their role, from the person at the gate to the guys in the back. We have our fair share of slow days and then days where everything happens at once. That's just the reality of a manufacturing company that's been around for decades. You get used to the routine after a while. There is always a lot to do, and we just handle it.
