Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co Ltd

Vikhroli is where we are based, right here in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This area is practically synonymous with Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co Ltd. We have a lot of space here, but it doesn't always feel like a big, scary company. To those of us who work here every day, it’s just a collection of buildings and trees. The campus is huge, and sometimes it takes a long time just to walk from one gate to another. It gets very green during the monsoon, which is probably the best part about being in Vikhroli. We have the trains running nearby, and you can always hear the distant rumble. Our day-to-day is pretty routine. We check in, do our work, and maybe go for a walk during lunch if it’s not too hot. There is a lot of history in these walls, but we don't think about that much while we are busy with emails or fixing things. It’s a mix of old industrial sheds and newer office spaces. You see all kinds of people here, from folks who have worked here for thirty years to the young kids just starting out. We aren't trying to be some fancy tech hub. We are a manufacturing company at heart. It’s dusty, it’s loud sometimes, and there is always something being moved around. Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co Ltd is just part of the landscape here. It’s where we belong and where we work.
