Our location for Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd is in Powai, Mumbai. Specifically, we’re at Flat No 101, 20 C in the Ntpc Colony. Being in Maharashtra 400076 means we’re right in the middle of all the Powai activity. The colony is a nice place to be, a bit more relaxed than the busier parts of the city. We work out of the flat, which makes it feel a lot more personal and less like a cold office building. We handle the manufacturing-related paperwork and coordination from here. It’s not a factory floor, so it’s relatively quiet, which is nice for getting things done. We spend a lot of time on our computers and the phone. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello or ask what we do. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes about deadlines. We like being in Powai because everything is close by. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking; we’re just a small part of a bigger company doing our bit. We try to be helpful when people call and we don't use any of that complicated business talk. It’s just us, doing our work in a regular apartment, making sure the days go by smoothly without any unnecessary drama or complicated systems. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes the commute a bit of a challenge, but once we’re inside the flat, it’s business as usual for the team here.
