Working at the Peninsula Corporate Park in Lower Parel is definitely a different experience compared to other parts of Mumbai. We are up on the 10th floor of the Peninsula Towers on GK Marg. It’s one of those big glass buildings where everything looks very modern from the outside. But once you get inside our office, it feels much more like a regular workspace. We have our desks, the coffee machine that breaks down once a month, and stacks of folders everywhere. The view from the window is mostly other tall buildings and the busy streets below. You can see the traffic crawling along all day. It’s a fast-paced area. People are always rushing in and out of the elevators. We spend a lot of our time on the phones or in meetings, trying to coordinate things. It can get a bit stressful when deadlines are close, but we manage. Most of us eat lunch at our desks or go down to the food court if we have time. It’s a bit corporate in the lobby, but our specific office has a more relaxed vibe. We’ve got people who have been with the company for twenty years working alongside new kids fresh out of college. We don't really do the whole vision thing. We just show up, do the engineering and business tasks that need doing, and try to avoid the worst of the evening rush hour.
